RESPONSIBILITIES & OBLIGATIONS

ISHS to provide

  • Information material and consent form for parent / guardian of students, to the schools, for distribution to students;
     
  • Student’s list from whom signed agreement forms have been received by ISHS;
     
  • ISHS membership card for each student with mention of their family members
     
  • a baseline medical profile report of each student, on conduction of a medical checkup, from a registered medical doctor, during the school visit;
     
  • Interactive health education activity, once every three months, like seminars or lectures or video presentation or quiz shows, for students on various health issues, on a mutually agreed schedule;
     
  • Annual report to school on health status of its students and ISHS activity during the year;
     
  • Renewed membership card to each registered member after every six months;
     
  • Monthly invoice to the school for the payments due against each student.
     
  • Distribution and collection of parents consent form to and from each student;
     
  • Distribution of ISHS membership card to each student as and when provided by IDEACON;
     
  • Space for medical check up of students, to be conducted by ISHS medical team;
     
  • Arrangements and student’s participation in health education activity, to be conducted by ISHS team, once every quarter;
     
  • Collection of monthly membership fee from each student;
     
  • Monthly ‘cheque’ payment to IDEACON not later than day 10 of each month, against the submitted invoice;
     
  • Cooperation to ISHS for conduction of a study on health issues among students

Expected Results

  • Improved health status of students (including nutritional)
     
  • Less absenteeism among students
     
  • Improved academic results from students
     
  • Improved savings by families of students
     
  • Less dependency on health care providers for management of non-major ailments
     
  • General community undertaking silent advocacy for improvement in the quality of health care services
     
  • Generation of significant data for policy makers on child health
     
  • Lastly, overall quality improvement in health care services
